As one of Paul Ryan’s staunchest critics, I’m fully aware that “accepting Ryan” is a tough pill to ponder, let alone swallow.
God awful, actually.
I’m not a fan of Ryan’s global politics, incessant Trump backstabbing, and overall “liberal in GOP clothing” clown-show.
See those stories here, here, here and here.
And those are just the tip of the iceberg.
However, I am a realist, and as much as we wish it to be, Paul Ryanprobably isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon.
Let me play devils advocate for a moment.
Ryan’s election is about a month away; his Wisconsin approval ratings continue to hold steady (is it something in the drinking water?) and while some recent polling suggests that his challenger is gaining ground, is it enough?
We haven’t seen comprehensive polling out of Wisconsin since late May, where Ryan was leading by 70+ points.
So realistically, where does that leave us?
Well, for starters, Ryan’s villainous character arc has begun shifting, slightly.
Most recently he stepped-up his attacks on Hillary.
Wait, let me rephrase that.
Most recently Paul Ryan quit attacking Trump and started attacking Hillary.
That’s better.
We’re at a crucial point in the general election cycle where party unity is paramount to our success against Hillary.
Yes, sadly, we need those establishment idiots.
We can’t expect Trump to run a strong campaign against Hillary while juggling a sideshow campaign against a bunch of bitter establishment dropkicks.
That strategy will not translate into a “landslide” victory for us.
If we continue down the anti-unity path, come November 9, we’ll be shaking our fists at the heavens, damning to hell all the establishment a-holes who fought and distracted us to defeat.
Let’s face it – as much as we’d like to say “eff off” to the Ryan’s and McConnell’s of the world and go on our merry “nationalist” way, it’s far more complex that that.
The scary part is that we’ve witnessed an already rigged system go completely off the rigged-rails.
That Unpopular cow Hillary jumped over the moon with the spoon, cat, dog, dish, and fiddle, leaving poor, popular Bernie in her collective dust.
Hey diddle, diddle.
Afterwards, she completed a victorious “ladies free skate” across that slippery email scandal.
That was our wake-up call.
She’s powerful.
So, with all of that said, here’s the question I pose to you: If Paul Ryan continues his attacks on Hillary, is there a redemption arc for his globalist character?
In other words, is Speaker Ryan someone who can be reasoned with and eventually conform to the will of the people?
I have met Mr. Ryan, and while he is not my “political cup of tea,” he comes off as a decent man, who, while misguided as hell, truly believes in his (weird) values, and appears authentically driven by his (oddball) moral compass.
Hey, I’m trying……
The good news in all of this is that Mr. Trump is the “art of the deal.” Which leads me to believe that if need be, Trump can convince Speaker Ryan to abandon the dark side of global politics and embrace the America First agenda.
If need be, because August 9, 2016, will tell the whole story.

I agree with Amy. We are stuck with Ryan, through the end of 2016 even if Paul Nehlen wins the August 9th Wisconsin Primary. I hope Mr. Trump can use his “Art of the Deal” magic on this globalist Obama enabler so he will continue his attacks on that beast Hillary!
Thanks Debra. You’re officially the first ever comment on our new site! 🙂
I am the 2nd!!
Paul Ryan would allow anyone, from anywhere, all over the world to cross over into the United States and become, in stages, a US citizen. He said on a EWTN interview with Raymond Arroyo “I don’t think it can be done”, (enforcing the laws and borders it States of America).
Wisconsin -get him out of there
We’re trying. 🙂
Let me just say this….it is a good thing I will never be put in a situation to vote for the ?man?. He is without character, without virtue, is downright mean and nasty and I would easier swallow 10 horse pills at a time than vote for him. That does not mean I may have to accept his existence, but until then I will push as hard as I can to get his opponent elected. Ryan, as speaker, is NEVER going to put Trump’s immigration and Trade policies through.
We need to elect Nehlen.
Oh hey, I was 3rd:)
